China Rails
For centuries, trade has been a crucial factor of
life in China. From the ancient "Silk Road" to modern
ocean trade, the flow of goods and cargo was the very lifeblood of
the great "Middle Kingdom." Once, bearers traveling on
foot or carts pulled by oxen were enough to fulfill the needs of
this great society. But the wheel of time cannot stop turning, and
thus new means are being called upon to deliver precious goods to
the people.
Like a river of iron, the tracks of new railroads
begin to cross the tremendous distances of the land, stretching from
Shanghai to Urumqi, from Qiqihar to Hong Kong, and to every city in
between. Shining dragons rush along these tracks, delivering goods
as mundane as grain, as exotic as jade. From time to time, these
young railroads will be called upon to transfer people: the noble
workers or exalted party officials.
From Tibet to Taiwan, the needs of the Republic
call out to you. With your limited resources, can you construct the
most efficient rail network? Can you deliver needed goods more
quickly than your competitors?
Can you prove to the People and the Party that
you, and you alone, deserve to be named the "Minister of
Railroads"? Events and disasters, both natural and man-made,
will stand in your way. But if your plan is sound and your tactics
are true, you shall overcome them all and claim your victory!

Lunar Rails
Dawn on the moon. The brilliant blue Earth rises
above the crater's edge. Amid the lunar dust in the cold emptiness
that is the lunar atmosphere, you can feel the strength and power of
the train rushing by, but you can not hear it... One can't help but
wonder at the willfulness of the human race, shaping the universe
one rock at a time. From dome to dome, installation to mine to city,
all the settlements on the moon must be connected by rail. There are
no roads for cars, no atmosphere for airplanes. The only economical
solution is rail. High speed, high capacity, reliable, efficient.
Are you up to the challenge? Can you drive the
rail lines from Sinus Iridum to Mare Nectarus? Or from the Ice Mines
at Scott to the Far Side metropolis in Mare Ingenii? Will your route
bring you fortune and success, or will your competitors drive the
development on the Moon? Will you invest in better trains: faster?
Stronger? Or perhaps both?
Welcome to the Moon! Face the challenges of
building a rail empire on this barren and airless world. Plot your
network of steel to earn fortune and glory. Your rails, and those of
your competitors, will span the surface of the moon, transporting
goods from supplier to demand. While no political boundaries stand
in your way, mountains, craters, and the destructive forces of
nature may. Spend your money wisely, make every mile marker count,
and the wealth of the Moon will be yours to command. Based on the
award-winning Empire Builder Game System, Lunar Rails uses eraseable
crayons to draw track between Lunar cities. The specially-coated
gameboard lets you wipe it clean after each game, so every time you
play the experience will be different! You get to decide on the best
way to lay track to take advantage of the options before you!
For 2-6 Players, Ages 12 and up.

Martian Rails
Martian Rails is a railroad building game set on a
fictional planet Mars. Simultaneously, the game allows a world of
canals and noble savages, a cold high altitude desert globe, a
nearly airless planet, terraforming, nanotech cyberpunk and
everything in between from 100+ years of science fiction stories set
on Mars. The game further captures the mood of those stories and the
feel of the planet. The game uses a further refinement of the
wrap-around mechanism used in Lunar Rails to simulate travel across
a 3D opposed to a 2D map. Having to think in 3D wraparound mode adds
additional "brain-burn" to the Empire Builder franchise...
sometimes the shortest distance between two points isn't the obvious
straight line.

Age of Steam
Steam-belching iron horses roar across the wild
plains in Warfrog (including Treefrog)'s railway game, licensed from
Winsome Games. Age of Steam relives the era when pioneering US
railroads built the tracks that transformed America's economy. The
cut-throat action is centered on the industrial powerhouses of the
growing nation: Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and beyond.
Challenges that await you:
- Can you finance both the most extensive track
network and the most powerful locomotives?
- Which routes will give the best returns on
their costs?
- Can you beat the opposition to the most
lucrative shipments?
- Will you make enough money to pay your
aggressive creditors?
Competition is brutal, with the game usually going
to the player who plans most carefully.
Each self-contained phase in the game keeps
players constantly involved in making vital decisions and
interacting with other players. Age of Steam also allows towns to be
developed into cities, ensuring that no two games are exactly the
same.

players, usually takes between 2 and 3 hours to complete, and is
suitable for persons aged 13 and above.
