Shopping Cart Information & Help

 

This website was written using FrontPage 2000, with the StoreFront plug-in to provide the online ordering capability.

While StoreFront is an excellent piece of software, it is taking us a bit of time to get all of our inventory into the system and laid out attractively.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  There are also a few features that StoreFront does not support, such as quantity discounts and purchasing items not in its database, that we are forced to work around.

To make a purchase, type in a number in the quantity box next to an item and click "Add to Cart."  You can then continue shopping or click on "Check Out" to go to the next step.

At any time, you may click "View Shopping Cart" to view what items you have selected.  This will also get you to the check out screen.

At Check Out, you may alter any quantities before finalizing your order.  You will also be shown the total cost of your items.  If there is a quantity discount on any of your items, this total will be incorrect, see below for more information.  You will also be asked to specify a Country and State for the order to be shipped to.  Washington State residents must pay 8.8% sales tax.  

At this point, you also choose your payment method.  If you choose "Phone or Fax", your order will not be sent to us, but you will have the opportunity to print it, and then either mail, fax or phone the order in.  

If you choose "Credit Card", you will be asked for your credit card number.  Your order will NOT be automatically processed.  It will be securely sent to us, where we will review it, make any necessary corrections and only then charge your card and ship your order.

If you wish to place your order using our shopping cart, but would rather call us with your credit card, or call and make arrangements to be billed for your order, please select the "Purchase Order" option.  We will usually then wait 24 hours to hear from you, and then try to contact you ourselves.

When you click on "Finalize My Order," you will be given a form to fill out with all of your information, including name, address, phone and e-mail.  Be assured that we will never sell our mailing list, phone list, or e-mailing list to anyone, and we will only use your phone number in case we cannot reach you by e-mail. 

At this point, there is also a box for comments.  If you have any questions or wish to order items that do not appear on the search page, please type them in here.

The last step is to click on "Complete Order."  You will then get a page containing and order number and some of the details of your order.  It is probably wise to print this out and keep it for your records.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q:  I ordered an item, but when I got to the Check Out page, it was more expensive.  Which is the correct price?

A:  If the item has several prices listed, for differing quantities, than the original page is correct.  Out software can't handle quantity discounts, so we re-do them by hand.  If it was anything else, it's a mistake.  Please e-mail us and we'll figure out which one is right and get it fixed.

Q:  I typed in a quantity and clicked "Order," but nothing happened.

A:  That's OK.  Just click on View Shopping Cart, and your item will be there.

Q:  I can't get your web ordering software to work.  What can I do?

A:  Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for everyone.  One reason for this is that your web-browsing software must be set to accept cookies.  Another reason is that we do occasional site updates that require us to take the database off the website for an hour or so.  This is usually done on weekday mornings and if you try back later, it should work.  

But even if you can't get it to work, we still want your order!  Please call, fax or e-mail us and we will do everything we can to assist you.

Q:  I'm ordering from a country outside the United States, but even after I choose my country it keeps asking for my state.  What do I do?

A:  This is another problem with our pre-packaged software.  To get around it, just choose your favorite US state and when it comes to placing the order, we'll see the country and know to ignore the state.
